creating an account
To edit the wiki you must first create an account by following the link in the upper right hand corner of this page and submitting the required information.
navigating
You navigate around the Wiki by clicking on links (internal and external). There may be a link on a page to go back, but, if not, simply use the back button on your browser.
posting
If you wish to provide new content, please do so by editing the appropriate section of the wiki.
editing, restoring
Every single page on this Wiki can be edited by all of us. Each page also has a complete history, so, if someone decided that editing had eliminated something essential, he or she can restore the original posting or page, or just go to it and get whatever he or she wants out of that page.
All of these pages are available by clicking on the "History" tab above; all you need to know is approximately when, what day, you posted. The Wiki is a completely collaborative creative space (you can change anything on this page, for instance, to make it more clear -- add, subtract, revise). But this history function reduces the risks of collaboration. Everybody's efforts are always safe here: I can restore my page if I feel something was taken out of it that I want to preserve.
linking
To link to an outside web page, type open-square-bracket (just one) then the URL, a space, and then whatever words you wish to have constitute the link, close-square-bracket.
images
If you wish to upload an image file to the wiki, please send it to solsen@mla.org.
